1. Makeup Stain Removal
Have you accidentally smudged makeup on your favourite shirt, or dress while you’re changing or even putting on makeup? Don’t you worry because it’s happened to the best of us? All of us have had incidents where we have ruined both our clothes and makeup. But did you know that the best way to remove these stains is by using shaving cream? By applying shaving cream on the makeup stained clothing item, rubbing it, and then washing it, you can slowly watch the stain vanish!
2. Safety Pin Ties
We now wear a lot of pants that have drawstrings, or some form of ties. But we all know that when you regularly wash these pants there is a chance that the strings will come out. But don’t let that get you down, you can always get them back in. Attach a safety pin to one end of the string and then feed it back through the same holes it came out of. By pushing it through you will feel the string come out through the other side. And voila there you have it!
3. Loose Threads
There have been times when we have threads coming out of our tops and our favourite pants. Well instead of pulling that thread out, and running your top, if you pull the fabric around the thread you can help it go back to its original place. Pull-on all four sides and watch as the string goes back into place, it’ll be as though it never came out in the first place.
4. Fix A Jammed Zipper
How many times has a zipper of a hoodie or jeans just gotten stuck? Have you had to play a game of tug-of-war with it for a while before the jam is fixed? Well, the simplest thing to do then rubs a crayon on both sides of the zipper. Yes, I kid you not, a crayon. If you rub a crayon on both sides the lubrication works against the friction.
5. Stray Underwire
Our bras sometimes work against us. So, when you feel as though the underwire of your bra is going to or has come out, you needn’t throw it away. Find some moleskin adhesive and just tape it right up. Once you’ve tapped up the underwire, you can wear the bra without any problems.
6. Wine Stain Removers
We’re all guilty of having a wine mishap here and there. But did you know that white wine can remove your red wine stains? Yes, when you have a red wine stain on your clothes, use white wine to remove it. By soaking the stained area in white wine, you can remove the stain!
7. Blouse Gap
There are times where there’s a gap in your button-up shirt that can be uncomfortable for you especially when you have to go out. But worry no more because a button gap can be fixed with some double-sided tape! There are specific tapes made for this very purpose, stick it on one side of your top and press the two ends together and there you have it!
