Winters are hard, but deciding what movie to watch is harder. But worry not, we’ve got your back!

It is that time of the year again — the time where the holidays are over, but your holiday hangover isn’t. We know it’s pretty cold to step outside, and with this remote work culture, we can’t find any other reason to go out in this bone-chilling winter. So, why not turn up the heat, make a steaming cup of hot chocolate, and watch some movies?

If you are looking for winter movies that will warm your heart, then here are our recommendations. Enjoy:

  1. Bridget Jones’s Diary -

There is a reason why this made first on our list. This movie about a girl finding her love among the wintery streets is a classic for all rom-com lovers out there. And if you are “just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her”, and are still not over Hugh Grant from Notting Hill, then you need to watch Bridget Jones’s Diary to get over your crush!

2. Winter’s Tale –

If you believe in destiny, magic, love, and guardian angels, then this is a must-watch for you. By the way, do not forget to keep your tissue box handy while watching this movie. You might need it!

3. Serendipity –

“If it is meant to be, it will happen.” With this line acting as a summary of the movie’s plot, Serendipity, a unique love story, will make you want to get out there in search of your love. But wait; it is cold. Why not watch a few more movies before you go out to a café in hope of meeting your soul mate?

4. The Holiday –

This Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz starrer is about two women swapping their houses and falling in love. A unique concept, but a good one!

5. Snow Day –

If it is cold enough, but there is no snowfall in your city yet, then don’t worry. This movie will be a virtual treat for you. Build igloos, plow snow, skate in a rink, and have a snowball fight with this movie.

6. The Family Stone –

This heart-warming movie about love and appearances is a good watch if you just want to go to bed with a happy ending.

7. Mr. Popper’s Penguins -

Who doesn’t love penguins, but when do we really see those in apartments? This movie is a treat if you want to watch an adorable movie with your family.

Warning — the movie is cute. Don’t blame us if you want to adopt penguins too.

We hope you like these suggestions. And if 7 movies are not enough for you, you can always go back to our basic winter movies — The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter series, Frozen, and Ice Age.

At Fuzia, we promise to have your back. So, in case you get bored with movies and want to move on to a new show to binge-watch, try watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Netflix. Here is why you will love it.
