Here are Some Female Superheroes in Marvel/DC Comics that Will Make Your Day!
All our lives, we have seen toxic masculinity, egoism, and representation of women in vulgar ways. We have been brought up to think that our place is in the kitchen or ‘behind the scenes’. However, we all know that is completely untrue. We all know how powerful women are and how much we get done on a daily basis. Whether it is in our personal lives or professional lives.
Marvel and DC understood that women are the most powerful superheroes much before the normal man did. Here are some female superheroes that are sure to make your day and make you feel more powerful than ever!
Scarlet Witch
In the Marvel Universe, the Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful and one of the most dangerous superheroes. She is the daughter of Magneto and the sister of Quicksilver. In the beginning, her powers were not very significant; however, as the comics progressed, we understood exactly how powerful this woman is!
Gamora
Gamora is easily one of our favorite female superheroes for many reasons! Not only is she confident, sarcastic, and strong; but she also has Thanes for a father. She is willing to go to lengths to protect the people she loves. We stan Gamora!
Black Widow
Natasha Romanoff is one strong woman! She usually does not get much screen time but in the comics, she was one of the women responsible for giving the female touch to the Avengers. Classy and strong; we love Natasha Romanoff!
Shuri
Shuri, though not exactly a superhero, is as good as one for sure! Her witty comebacks and unbeatable intelligence helped shape the future of the Black Panther.
Supergirl
Supergirl was an accidental creation. The creators only meant to add her to the Superman universe; however, the audience loved her so much that she needed to be given her own story! Yes, she is a badass; but she is also soft and respects her morals.
Every woman is a superhero in her own way and we all deserve recognition for the things we tolerate and go through on a daily basis! We hope this blog was empowering.
