Are we all really okay? That’s a question left unanswered. Let’s address the emotional well-being and mental health already.

While mental health, on the other hand, relates to how the mind functions. It is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community. Mental health is more than just an absence or mental disability. Good mental health involves your wellness and happiness.

Being emotionally and mentally strong does not imply that the journey of life will be a butter-smooth ride or there won’t be pessimistic ideas lingering around your head. Instead, it means that no matter what map is thrown at you, you will navigate through the storm, through the wind, through the scorching heat and build your confidence. You will learn to be resilient and every time life throws you down you will bounce back with a better plan and a better you. To be conscious about emotions and thoughts gives us a feeling of self-empowerment. This, therefore, helps us to make better decisions and optimistically approach the life we are given. One of the greatest tips given by a famous psychiatrist on personal growth is that the more we focus on our emotional well-being and mental health, the more productive we become and hence we move closer to our goals and eventually learn to embrace ourselves. Your physical health can affect your emotions, and your emotions play a role in your physical health. We’ve probably all experienced feelings of nausea before doing something nerve-wracking, or enjoyed the rush of mood-boosting endorphins after a joyful dance class, or brisk walk!

You take a plunge and be confident, you’ll finally be able to accept your mistakes and rectify it. A deep sense of awareness is awakened within you and life looks better than it used to.
