We often have the talent but the lag of display kills us. What is it that keeps us from becoming best at content creation? Go ahead have a look!

Digital is the era, binary is our life and data is the new fuel. In the era of superpower growth, where are we? Digitally struggling for our creative yet? Well, on! There’s always a solution. Unlock the digital beast in you and make these 7 ninja moves to be a geek at content creation.

Robin Sharma, when asked about a few tips, said that Number one, keep trying. Number two, repeat number one. Practice makes humans perfect, but keywords and the right tactics that make a human swamp over the internet and rule the SEO by his creation. Let’s get started then:

1. Know Your Audience

We often fail to know our audience. We write what suits us the best and not for the system or the world. It may work sometimes — lucky charm. But sometimes it doesn’t. So to cycle it 24*7 we need to hack the brain of our users. Let us take an example, now you go to a physicist and brag about constellations and the refractions occurring. But would you do the same essay with a kid? No, won’t. You “twinkle” with a kid, you don’t “refract” there!

2. Plan

Plan your content month ahead. Have a clear schedule on what you are targeting. Work on the preferred keywords and ensure that you are punctual to your plans. Keep your audience always engaged with you. Be an active voice. Talk as if you were about to meet them and convey them the message in person. Let your voice roar through the words. Having a deadline set is disciplinary and provides your audience with what they need — content!

3. A crystal CTA

The list of every article or work you write is the CTA. No matter what topic you hit, ensure that your voice is reaching their brains via the eyes. Be clear about your points. Write about the universe if you have to, but don’t elongate more about the multiverse in it. You’ll get a hang of it once you are crystal clear about what is your personal call to action. Ask yourself why are you writing this? There, you have your answer now.

4. Simple yet standardized

Jargon words never made a skillful writer! We all know. Keep your words simple. Let there be humbleness in your work but strength too. The understandable articles are those which avoid unnecessary thesaurus research. Write your heart out and make a mark that it reaches theirs too. A smooth flow transits well into a reader, save that dictionary for later!

5. Unnecessary words are but a garbage

Have you seen a movie called “Dead Poets Society”? If not, I highly recommend you. No, I’m not drifting from the topic. For a valuable work of creation, must avoid using the word very. Said who? Professor Keating. The word ‘very’ in itself describes how lazy you are for basic research. A man is never ‘very tired’, he’s exhausted. You ain’t ‘very sad’, you are morose. A wise hand will know the difference between jargon and ‘very’ now.

6. Format

Never build a China wall out of your words. Break it into bulletins, points. A pile of clothes never made sense, so do words. Organize your work. Keep it clean, simple and format it in a wise way. Short words, simple sentences and meaningful paragraphs tend to attract a massive amount of audience. So go there and begin chopping your article in branches and subheadings.

7. Proofreading never goes out of style

Read — proofread — proofread again. The cycle will go on and on and the mistakes will be found. If you are bored of reading your own creation, then go back. Work again and make it even more interesting and alluring. Capture yourself first, with your words. Edit it. Proofread it. Give your words a fresh pair of eyes, maybe a friend or a mentor. Let them read and guide you. Be open to the invitation of corrections. Mould your creation for a better understanding of the audience.

All set? Begin then. These simple steps will now make you hone your digital writing skills. Also, one more extra tip, READ. The more you read, the better you write.
